Welcome to Nairn St Ninian's Church of Scotland

You are very welcome to join us in Worship. Here you will find a traditional Presbyterian form of worship with emphasis on prayer, the preaching of the Word, and congregational singing of Hymns and Metrical Psalms.

Morning Service Fellowship - tea/coffee is served in the church hall after the morning service, all are welcome to come through to the hall.

6.30 p m 1st Sunday of each month
joint service with the other local denominations

2.30 p m 2nd Sunday of each month
A brief service of prayer and ministry offered to all who desire a blessing from God, who need to be encouraged, helped, or who desire to receive healing of any sort.

The Church is open to visitors daily from Monday to Saturday.  Please feel free to come in and walk round or sit and have a quiet time.  Coffee and tea is normally available in the hall from 10.00 a.m. on Thursdays.

Hospital Visits - If you know of anyone in hospital who would like a visit from the Minister please let your elder or Grace McCloy, Session Clerk know.  The hospitals have changed their procedures and ministers can no longer find out if any members or adherents have been admitted.

The Monday Night Bible Study Group takes place at 1 Caledonian Street at 7.00 p.m.

Each Wednesday evening at 7.30 p.m. and Friday morning at 7.00 a.m. the minister leads Prayers in the church Session Room.  All are Welcome.  If you cannot attend then perhaps you will pray at this time in your own home or wherever you happen to be.  However, there will be no Friday morning prayer meetings during the worst of the winter weather.

The women's group, 'After Alpha', meets on Mondays at Dorothea's house.  Any ladies wishing to come along, even if you have not been to Alpha, contact Dorothea or Yvonne for details and information.

Presbytery meets on Tuesday 7th February at 6.45 p.m.

The Organist will be an Annual Leave on Sundays 19th and 26th February.  Please give a warm welcome to Mr Jim Buchanan who returns to the organ console on these days.

National Stewardship Campaign 2012 - 2014: By resolution of the 2011 General Assembly presbyteries are instructed to conduct a stewardship campaign over the next three years.  Presbyteries have in turn instructed every congregation to take part.

We are recommended to form a small group to propose plans to the two Kirk Sessions.  This group will consist of an elder, a board member and a member from each congregation plus the Minister.  Anyone who feels they would like to be part of this group should please contact the Minister or Session Clerk without delay.
